Others say we do not have the resolve or resources, and even more others say we are already working behind the scene to get rid of him. I say we have created a mess with our previous efforts in these civil wars that has antagonized many and turned them to jihad. You say...

I say we must be very, very careful.

You sound like Faux News.

I report, you decide...

NATO not "we" need to do more. This can not continue.

I say we have created a mess with our previous efforts in these civil wars that has antagonized many and turned them to jihad.

Is that really the reason for jihad?

I don't follow the details, but I have the impression that Obama is saying words to the effect that, if he finds out that the Syrian regime is using chemical weapons, then.....

And I think, recently, he said that, indeed, there is evidence that there has been chemical weapons used in Syria....

What if it turns out that it's the REBELS who have been using chemical weapons?

Hay

Hay, your message sounds vaguely familiar... where have I heard about chemical weapons before... hmm, let me think...

Get out of there & the crap they are playing at now!
I can't see the knife for the wound.
Soon well have to send bags of cash to Damascus!

 o
RE: Syria? Some say we must do more to topple Assad.

What if it turns out that it's the REBELS who have been using chemical weapons supplied by the state department?

C'mon... would anything surprise anyone these days?

I say we leave the rest of the world alone for awhile and concentrate on some of our own issues... and believe you me, we are up to our eyeballs in our own issues!

I'm with jodi. Let's solve our own problems. Who do we think we are running around trying to solve problems in other countries.

I guess that The Bush Doctrine is not very popular with Republicans any more.

Unanimity for once on a topic!

But there are those who just can't wait to wave that flag at the drop of the first bomb.

Right, Heri?

 o

There goes the unanimity.

We didn't drop the first bomb.
Reports are coming in that Israel has unilaterally taken action to bomb Syria.
Should the US join Israel now in bombing Syria or wait until there is a counterattack on Israel or perhaps, another alleged use of chemical weapons by Assad?

 o
RE: Syria? Some say we must do more to topple Assad.

Other countries are arming the opposition.

Heard this morning that Jordan asked the Security Council of the UN to come have a look at the refugee camps and the growing powder keg this is, but Russia and China refused, saying that this would be the first step in intervention.

really?
