future! Yes, the blind Chinese dissident seems to have got the green light from China to come here as a student. He certainly has disrupted our economic discussions with China and some bright person figured out this perfect solution. Surely you will find this satisfying...

Sorry, it doesn't really matter to me in this case. He is but one man getting favored treatment while thousands of others are oppressed by the Chinese government.

This is getting far more play in the West than it gets in China.

The radio this morning was saying that he may well be a pawn between a couple factions within the Chinese Gvt, with one side beating the crap out of people who come to visit him, another faction talking about happily granting him visas.
