| Good question, Bboy, since leeches have actually been found to be a good, natural, and workable cure for certain health issues... "now sometimes used as a temporary aid to circulation during surgical reattachment of a body part." (source: dictionary definition of leeches.) But seriously... Since we actually went through and discussed pricing on this issue quite some time ago, and found out that R&D doesn't eat up nearly as much as big pharma companies claim, it could be noted that many consumers, and a much longer list of drugs were being sold at majorly inflated costs. I believe the difference was somewhere around 70%, if memory serves, making actual research and development sit somewhere around 30% of the cost claimed. It would be very interesting to learn why large pharmaceutical corporations sell their wares to other nations at much more affordable bulk prices, which are then passed on to the consumer, while the USA is continually overcharged for those same drugs, making them quite unaffordable to many patients who need them... and forcing many patients to either do without, or cross borders to obtain more affordable pricing. I'm fairly certain this is something we've discussed at length, too.

| Seriously you guys. It's McKesson's own fault for not putting spyware on all of the employees computers, tracking every keystroke, so they could have possibly outed the whistle blower, and sacked him or her before they had a chance to bring this to the attention of the law. |
