Anybody watch VEEP?

| I think the show is mostly a hoot, with a little too much meanness. But, being an old Seinfeld and Christine fan, I watch it anyway.
It's kind of weird watching a comedy with no laugh tracks though. Feels kind of strange laughing out loud alone.
Is her character modeled after anyone in particular? Dare I ask? |

| I haven't seen it, but reading the about it sounds like it's maybe modeled after that 70's britcom wicked political satire that ran for years, starring what's-his-name as the unctuous civil servant, superb actor. Dam funny show. |

| I like and have tried to watch it a couple of times "On Demand" but not something I make a special attempt to watch. |

| No. I'm not particularly drawn by series on television, preferring full length movies or cartoons, mainly Japanese Anime'. I also like to read. |

| Tried watching it , but the character played by JLD was just too much of a mean spirited jerk and not funny at all . Anna Chlumsky of the My Girl movies as her assistant Amy has grown up to be quite hot though ! |
