My Hoya Kerri plant has these terrible growths on it that I just discovered after being out of town for 4 days. Can someone please help me identify what the problem may be and how to treat it? At first, I thought they were mealy bugs but there seems to be growths coming out of the stems. And the white spots are not that fuzzy. Please help.

i am looking forward to seeing if anyone knows what this is, because one of my hoyas has kind of the same thing down closer to the base of the plant... maybe something with it being too wet?

I cant' see it well enough to tell, but I'd guess aerial roots (normal & not bugs or disease). You could post as Amber suggests at 'Discussion' (thanks Amber), but I suspect you'll be told it's aerial roots.
