How are you defining "better vining," Renee? They both have stiff stems, don't scramble, and need pinning support. I prefer the sp. Queson, at least the one I have (EPC 692), as a Hoya in general, as it has a much prettier growth habit. Prettier vines, prettier leaves, smaller internodes, more vigorous growth. But I kind of suspect you are referring to a different Hoya from Queson, as I wouldn't readily compare the two plants I am thinking of.

GG - by vining I mean the plant curls around supports by itself, it doesn't need pinned up. So you did answer my question - neither one. :)

Both of my cuttings are rooted well, just haven't started to grow much, so I wasn't able to tell.

And yes, the sp. Queson. same EPC number. I have a new cage that I want to put a hoya in, but definitely want one that naturally vines, these two were options. So, I'm not saying they are similar, just two I have that I thought of putting in the new cage.
