Mike, when I put my nose up close to the flowers,it smells like grapefruit rind.

They're kind of the color of a nice ripe grapefruit, too. Or it looks so from the picture. Gorgeous! They look super downy too, like baby ducks. I would squeal in delight if I saw those in person.

The grow light has made the flowers a bit lighter than the are in person.
I did kinda did get a bit excited when :I looked up and saw them open.I had stopped looking every day because they were talking so long(over 6 weeks to open).

Congratulations on the praetorii blooms Cindy.
I find this Hoya to be so exotic, the way it presents it's leaves and of course the flowers. I do wish the flowers scent were about 10X stronger but I guess they make up for the lack of scent with their uniqueness.

Thanks Mike.It would be nice if it smelled super strong.

When they smell lovely, faintly, it feels like you and the Hoya are having a private exchange. :)

So beautiful! They look like upside-down ballerina tutus. Thanks - another one to add to my must-have list!
