Your Wish List.....

Hi everyone,

Has your wish list grown over the winter? Mine has a little. Here's what I have down:

Pubicalyx "Bright One" and the Dragons

Motoskei

Obovata

Mototskei and obovata I only have as single cuttings and would like to make them larger. Bright One died and I'm in love with the Dragons (Joni's not sure if she'll do another Forest Treasures order).

Let's all of us ask Joni to make a new order from Forest Treasury..... they have beautiful species, and we all want those species............

Black Dragon is on my want list, along with australis "lisa", and finlaysonii. If Joni were to make a Forest Treasures order I'm sure we'd make it worth her while!

She might do another one if there's enough interest. I second mitzicos's idea! No sign yet of when she's gonna open for business up again this year yet though.

Joni has a Black Dragon listed on eBay now! I think her website says she'll open the online store in March! Only two days away!

Will get back to you with the wish list!

My wish for this year includes:

    lasiantha
    megalantha
inflata (I keep failing with this one...)
Tanna Island - can't believe how quickly this one grows
    cystiantha
    subcalva
    scortechinii (I lost mine..)
    waymanaie (have lost SEVERAL)
    gold griffithii
    nyhuusiae
and I'm sure there are others!

My buotii struggled this past year and I had to restart it, so I may try to get another cutting of it.

Well my wish list is always increasing.....

    Siariae
    Magnifica
    Wallichii
    S Species Philippines Golden Flame
Bhasehrnaezzi (lost in my last order)
Magalaster (lost for the third time)
    Hypolasia
    Sulawesi 8860
Parasitica Lao (Lost for the second time)
    Coriacea
    Chorantha
    Graveolens with red spots (beautiful)
Macgillivrayii (on its way to Brazil, hope it arrives alive)
    Obscura pink flowers

When I buy new ones I always desire another ones, is it normal???? LOL

My wish list is not all that large because I just don't have the space to grow many more Hoyas.

    Hoya burmanica
    Hoya pandurata
    Hoya obtusifolia
    Hoya collina
    Hoya longiflora pubescens

Mitzicos that's the problem with Hoyas. I find that once I get the species I am looking for a little while later I start wanting more, might have something to do with the fact that some grow/bloom slowly.

I think it's because each species is so unique and seems to have its own personality. It is so much fun to grow all of them! I try to limit my purchases to within my current skill level and that keeps my lists shorter.

    Just:
    Obavata
    kerrii
and if I can find it, a compacta with a lot of pink on the leaves.
    :)
