| Just a heads up that Walmart (mine anyway) is selling small, variegated h. carnosa for 2.50 and also some larger hanging plants (also h. carnosa).
Happy Growing! |

| Hyenas, our Walmart is selling varigated carnosa too (KQ and KP). That's all the hoyas they're selling for now, unfortunately. A few weeks ago they were selling KQ in pots with bamboo hoops. I already have KQ, so I didn't get it. The prices cheaper though at your WM. Are the hanging baskets the variegated ones? I don't see plain carnosa for sale anywhere locally. Did you buy any? | The hanging baskets are variegated, not plain. Did I buy any? :) Of course. I bought one of the little ones. Even though one of my hoyas might (hasn't bloomed) be a KP clone, it doesn't have the variegated leaves. I can't wait until spring! I'm going houseplant crazy in the meantime though. :) |

| Hi Hyenas, Am a bit confused at your comment above. I believe KP in order to be KP is variegated (w/ the white on the inner portion of the leaves). Otherwise I think it would just be a solid green Carnosa, not a KP. |

You're right! (I think :) Sometimes, however, clones of KP revert back to mostly solid green leaves. But the flower would be the same as the original KP. I don't know if that would make the KP clone a solid green Carnosa or a KP. So while I might have two hoyas that have the same bloom, they have different leaves. There's a post on this a ways back, which is what I'm getting my info from. I'm new to hoyas though, so keep that in mind. :) Or at least that's the argument I used to rationalize buying yet another plant. |

| Hi Hyenas, Then Welcome. We all know what it is to tell ourselves whatever to feel reason to buy yet another Hoya or five. I my area I 'often find small pots (3") of no-name Hoya, often all green, I take them home to experiment with, like growing in hydro or different kinds of mixes. |

| Both plants are Hoya carnosa but think of the Krimson Princess or Krimson Queen as the red heads in a family of brunettes. The labels on these Hoyas would be easier to understand if the were written Hoya carnosa 'Krimson Queen' etc. Mike |
