long crispy vines

waxy

Hello,

I've read that most folks don't cut the long vines coming off their hoyas. Do you leave dried up, brown, and hopefully dead (not zombies!) portions attached too? Many of the longer vines from my plants, the last section will be dead. I've been cutting off those dead pieces, they don't bleed, and definitely appear to be dead. It's not the whole vine... just everything up to the last living node. If I should cut, should I cut after the node (in the dead area) or before the node (in the green, woody, living area)?

Thanks! :)
