I have the same plant . . . I dug around, and the id I found was Dischidia 'Geri'

I went to Dischidia.com and looked around a little. Seems like an interesting genus.

I got the same one at Lowes. The tag on mine said Carnosa, which I know it's not. I posted it here to get an ID and I got the same Id, D. oiantha Schltr. So I labled it that and Geri in ( ).

FYI, it's quite a water guzzler and will do best if not allowed to get terribly dry.

Thanks for the heads up Denise. I was going to change the soil in it (EA yuck) but if it likes to be kept moist, I think I will leaves it alone. It's so hard to try to get rid of the EA soil anyway. . .

So I guess mine is a dischidia, not a hoya. You would think EA could at least get the right type of plant if not the right name.

Thanks everyone. Ive been trying to find the correct name for this plant for a week. I've had it a month. MY tag from EA said Hoya Chelsea. Well, I found the correct Chelsea earlier this week and have been wondering what is this then? Does anyone know if it blooms?

Yes, and depending on which clone it is, it can have small or larger flower clusters. My original geri (or, if you want to call it by its real name, according to Dr. Tanya Livschultz, D. oiantha Schltr.) has small flower clusters, sometimes with a slightly blush tip...

And then a second clone I eventually got, Dr. Livschltz said should be called D. aff. oiantha Schltr. It has larger flower clusters...

I think they're more likely to bloom if they're given a shady spot outside where they'll get some real heat. I have my aff. inside the house this year and, though it's growing like crazy, it's showing no signs of blooming whereas it had been blooming for some time by this time last year.
