My Hoya rigida has a peduncle right down at the potting mix as well so your cutting gives me hope that it might try to bloom as well. Congratulations on the buds.

Yea, those baby leaves are really sweet, the colour, the perfect shape...I get that warm kitten feeling :)

From my very limited knowledge, it`s an Australis. It was given to me as a cutting from a place where I attended a meeting last fall. I had just caught the Hoya mania, so had no shame as to ask. They had no idea what Hoya it is.

Still keeping fingers crossed, hopefully there`ll be updates.

I'd go along w/ the Australis ID. I've got some from Cena which looks like that, particularly the new leaves both the red-bronze color w/ those very green leaf tips. I've even tried to take pix of that funny bronze leaf w/ green tips, but didn't get good shots.

Sadly the buds on my australis just dried up, but lacunosa doesn`t let me down

DS-70 has one single peduncle opening today. Love the colour of this one, too bad they`re so small...

inger-1, I see that you are in zone 10 as well. Where abouts are you? Anywhere near San Diego? If so where are you getting your hoyas?
