I don't think it would disturb them, but most Hoya blooms don't last thaaaat long. I haven't bloomed this particular one, but I'm thinking you have a week or less of this particular umbel blooming, then you can scoot it outside and wait for the next blooms. :)

Thank you greedyghost, this is the first bloom I've had in awhile, and I didn't remember if they are sensitive to moving. It really is quite nice! And there are two more umbels getting ready!

Hoya obovata is not sensitive to moving at all. It is one tough cookie, and can take pretty much whatever you can throw at it. Congratulations on the beautiful blooms.

What do you think they smell like?

GG, it's hard to say what it smells like, but it isn't very strong. Here is a photo of it after I brought it outside with some of it's friends.

Very nice, fuschia centers! My standard obovata does not have such bright centers:

I see yours is the silver flecked clone, and I do have that one now and it has peduncles on it. Maybe it will have those brightly colored centers!
