My obovata is blooming!

Here is my H. obovata in bloom. I got it recently from Sue. The flowers have plenty of nectar and a pleasent scent.

That's stunning, Tammy! Obovata is a faithful bloomer once it gets going. Mine is growing in a more shaded position because I like the look of greener leaves, so it hasn't bloomed as much as it did when it was in the GH. I love it nonetheless!

Oh, How pretty. I love the close up of the flower, very nice.

My obovata just got done blooming, but it only had two flowers. But there are two huge peduncles budding up now so I should get a good show from them. Mine didn't smell, does yours?

It smells nice in the evenings. I still like carnosa's smell better though.

Hi TigerDawn - your obovata is gorgeous!! I thought he looked good without blooms, but look at him now ,,, you must be thrilled (I would be). :)
