Hoya Blooms Opened Today!

One of my Hoya lacunosa blooms opened today, and I'm beside myself! They are much prettier than I expected, and they smell really strong to be so small. I won't have more for a couple weeks, but my 8 year old daughter and I found about 20 peduncles in different stages of development all over the lacunosa! I think I have a future Hoya addict on my hands :)

That is wonderful! I have a lacunosa in my kitchen, and the smells are heavenly while I'm washing the dishes :)

Congrats! Mine has been blooming for the last couple of months and I love the smell - reminds me of lilacs. Enjoy!

Congrats...it is so exciting to see blooms...especially your first! I'm one of the few people that can't take the very strong scent of Lacunosa. I have to grow this one outside due to the fact that the scent is so strong for me I get a headache,lol...Enjoy them!
