I am so happy you ended up posting a picture, Cindy! I've been looking forward to it. I really like the way it has a higher arch than bella. Do the thick leaves make it a little more tolerant of drying out?

I think that's a VERY fun photograph. It looks like I'm watching a slow motion capture of a single spray of blooms falling toward my face.

Denise, I got this hoya from Thailand.This one has no fragrance at all but neither dose my bella.I keep reading that people say that bella smells nice but mine dose not.But I like it still even with out a fragrance.

Cindy, don't feel bad...my weebella(dickasoniana)has a very faint smell but very nice...I have to put my nose right up to it to smell it. Possibly because I grow it outside? But the blooms are so pretty like you said I don't mind the weak fragrance.

It's so interesting to me how different each of us are, or how differently each of us can smell fragrances. I find H. bella to have a powerful fragrance, very outstanding. Yet, I don't like the scent of sp. square leaf, and others state that it's a fabulous fragrance. The best for me has been H. shepherdii, the worst has GOT to be H. camphorifolia. It's great that we're all so unique!! Fondly, Patrick
