I don't grow it myself, but the leaf shape looks the same as photos I've seen of it. I wouldn't remove the peduncle - it doesn't hurt to let them bloom when they're a cutting. It may stop growing until the flower is done, but with just one peduncle, that won't take long - probably won't even affect it.

I grow it and your plant looks just like mine. I can bloom at an early age and and if your plants is rooted in well and showing new growth already as it appears to be,i'd just leave the peduncle o n it and let it bloom.

Xuan, I have to take some pictures of hoyas today so i'll try (if I can remember) to get a pic of the oramicola for you. I got my plant from David Liddle as a cutting a few years ago. It actually seems to be a moderately fast grower once it takes hold.

Xuan, as promised here are the pictures of my hoya australis ssp. oramicola IML 0123 from David Liddle. The first pic is of the entire plant. It was larger than this but I have cut it several times to share with people.

the second photo is an up close of the leaves for you to compare it to your plant. You'll notice that my plant has some tiny new peduncles on it now as well. It has bloomed before though.

It's amazing at just how varied the leaves can be in size and shape on this hoya.

You can see in the last pic where I have cut a few feet from the plant so I could start a new one.

I believe my plant looks exactly like yours, especially when I see that second section up high on your plant.

But how come the leaves on yours are curved back at the rim? Those on mine don't have that curve. Maybe I'm keeping it too wet?

i'm not sure what is making the leaves curl like that,it could be that maybe I am keeping my plant too wet as I do tend to water this one a little more that it should be!!!
