What do I have in the pot?

I have three different cuttings of hoya in this pot. I believe I have Krimson Princess, hindu rope, and hindu rope variegated. But I'm not sure.

Could you help confirm? Thank you.

Xuan, I think the green one might be Krinkle 8. The other 2 are correct.

I agree with Jan. The leaves aren't "curly" enough for compacta, though the dimples on my 'Krinkle 8' are a little more defined. But there are different clones of it, so you probably just have a different clone.

I'm thinking that's not Krinkle 8, the all green leaf, the shape isn't right for Krinkle 8, nor are the dents or dimples visible, & the leaf shape is quite different than I'd recognize.

I doubt that's what it is, tho' Denise may know more on this than I.

Okie, so I can sum up like this:

Top left: Krimson Princess
Top right: Compacta variegated
Middle: Unknown as yet

Many thanks to Jan, Denise, and PG.

The middle one may be H. 'Chelsea'...I think it's a carnosa cultivar...but resembles (in ways) K.8

This is Hoya chelsea.

Yes, it definitely looks like H. chelsea.

Very nice, Xuan!

I already have a Hoya chelsea. Here's a pic to show:

Surely to my eyes, the leaves on this cutting don't look like those on my mature plant. They are more "curly and succulent". What then????

RE: What do I have in the pot?

It could be a green compacta that has just reverted a bit. I've had that happen to H. compacta plants that I have grown. Do you know if that cutting was in lower light? If you put the cutting in stronger light, it may start to grow more "normal" again. It's certainly worth a try.

Otherwise, I don't have a clue. The leaf shape is not correct for the plant to be H. Krinkle #8.
Good luck,
Mike
