Sometimes Hoyas can make you wait for new growth but it must have been just the right time of year because your cuttings are performing very well. Congratulations!

Thanks Kelly and Mike. This is the first time I've tried to root cuttings of hoyas, so for me it is very exciting that it really works! (silly as that sounds, lol)

Totally not silly! I had never even attempted rooting a cutting until 2007 when I discovered hoyas and I still excited when they successfully root!

I get excited with new growth too! I have a bunch of new cuttings that have yet to grace me with any new growth, but at least they are rooted now! Yours are looking really good- keep up the good work!

Lighting96 Those cuttings look good. what are the containers that you are using in your pix?
And what is the medium that you are using? I have tried rooting some of my cutting but have not had a lot of luck.

Great job Lightning! I'm so glad that they rooted for you! Congrats on all the new growth! Who doesn't love seeing new growth on their plants? I have a whole bunch of new growth (vines and leaves) on my hoyas.
