I like the coat hanger too just couldn't find my keys to the shop, which in turn had the wire cutters in there so I just came up with this. I know some people don't like the bamboo b/c it rots but we'll see how long it lasts.

Creative?? Not really, just broke from buying so many darn hoyas!!!! :-)

Shanna,

That turned out great, looks like it does the job. By the way how's the buds of your Speckled carnosa doing? Can't wait to see the bloom.

It looks very neat, Shanna.

In my climate, I hang my hoyas outside, in the shade house, and I tie them to the wire hangers. But I've seen most of you people don't hang your hoyas so you must have trellis. Yours looks very nice and I think it will do the job well enough.

Maybe you can patent (sp.?) it LOL!

The buds are getting bigger and none have fallen off or blasted. I was going to take a pic this morning because I think it is within a couple day's of opening but didn't have enough time. I will try to take a pic of it tonight if I can remember and post tomorrow. I am very excited.

I would love to hang my hoyas too but with growing them inside my house, my hubby will only put so many hooks (holes in the stud walls) for me. I do have 3 in the macrame (sp) hangers 2 with another plant hanging from the bottom of the macrame and also one more on a hook in the dinning room with no macrame. I just have to settle with tables for now until I get my sunroom and there will be a hanger in every stud wall avaliable around the eastern and southern floor to celing windows (we've already discussed it)

The trellis' are ok just kinda wobbly even with a heavy catch pot b/c of potting them in small pots and then so many leaves and thick vines at the top.
