Asiatica Open House

For members within a comfortable driving distance of Lewisberry, PA (which Houston is not), Asiatica just announced their open house dates for this summer. They only open to the public for a few days each summer, so it might be fun for members to check it out. I have wanted to go see their operations for years now, but maybe next summer when I will in the area for my sister’s wedding

Friday July 17
Friday July 24 and Saturday July 25
Friday July 31 and Saturday August 1

I just got an order in from them by FedEx. Very nice plants!
I mostly dealt with his wife Jane and she was very sweet. Barry was out of town.
The only downside is the shipping price but you do get them in only 2 days. That keeps stress on the plant down. Which is a plus!
I'd love to see some of his higher end plants in person. Sometimes a picture just doesn't do justice.
Probably better on my bank account I live too far away to go! hahaha.,,,,Debbie

I live close to Asiatica, but unfortunately I've had pretty bad luck with their plants. I'd still love to go to see what they have, but I will be out of town for that whole period of time :(

For anyone that goes, make sure you post pics!

I've been so tempted to order from them but their shipping is beyond belief! Sent them an email one time asking about the cost as most sellers from the East coast area are under $20 for priority. Got a rather snippy email back telling me if I didn't like it to shop elsewhere! So I have!

You're better off! Glad you ordered elsewhere. All my plants from them were mislabeled...and only a few of them survived. I've heard of others having trouble with their hoyas too. They have great stuff, but they are very pricey...and to lose the plants after paying that kind of money is horrible!
