Pest problem

Hi everyone, When I'm on Garden Web I am normally on the Oklahoma forum but have a ? about my hoya so here I am! I have what I think are aphids on the flowers and new growth on my solid green hoya, don't know what variety it is as it was a gift many years ago.They are very little insects, orange color. On another post I found a "recipe" for a neem based liquid from Carolyn, will it work on the aphids? If not what can I do about them? I really don't like using pesticides but will if necessary.

Klo - I think that formula will work fine for aphids. Those orange little suckers is why I don't many Hoyas outside - they must thing they're a delicacy because they always find them!

I usually only get aphids in the fall and I'm in OKC. Guess I better start watching!

I have these every year but this year they seem worse for some reason. I have the plants on a screen porch and they love it there but somehow the aphids find them! I am going to get some neem and mix this up and hope it takes care of them!
