Hi, mine is on a bamboo hoop trellis and is tethered to a shelf as it is heavy. Good grower and bloomer for me. ~ Mary

I think a trellis is best as well. This is a large heavy plant once it begins to grow so it needs a sturdy pot and trellis to keep it stable.
