| I hope it's ok to x-post this. I'm just so excited (and I forgot there was a Hoya forum when I originally posted on the HP forum this morning... it's been a while since I've been around GW regularly).
Anyway, I feel like the only person in the world who has a hard time getting hoyas to bloom. After growing them for the last decade, last night I noticed that I FINALLY have a bloom on my compacta! I'm so excited! I took a pic this morning, even though they haven't opened all the way. Yay! (the foliage in the back is carnosa, I think) |

| Hey Tisha, OF COURSE IT'S OK to post this here! What excellent news, congratulations to you, I'm happy to see you post here & share your happiness on this. No you're not the only one (I'm sure); I too have had very little bloom & am now awaiting my Kerrii's blooms which peduncles are budding up fatter & more developed every day on a cutting I took myself 2 years ago. I too am bursting w/ excitement. Looking forward to seeing more pix when the blooms open, enjoy! (PG) Karen (from the older days) |
