Thanks everyone!
He's always had those speckles when in good health and he's HAPPY as can be now. He's a carnosa-no special variant that we know of except he's an OLD type carnosa. He's even grown since I posted those pix!
Now if I could pull off a similar miracle with my Mom's Christmas (Thanksgiving??) cactus!
