I live Fl and we've been in the mid to upper 90's for so long I can't count the days,lol...humidity is very high also. I grow about 60% of my hoyas outside but NOT in full sun. I have some of them under trees, against the wall getting shade from the roof awnings and in the roofed entryway. They are getting all the hot/humid FL weather has to offer and they are doing fine out there. I would make sure you don't put them in full sun or you'll sunburn the leaves. You can always try it for a few days and see how they adapt...if they don't seem to like it, you can always move them inside, just my opinion. Also, keep an eye on the amount of rain it gets, we've been very dry here lately even though its our rainy season, but I do bring them inside when we get more than a couple of days of heavy rain, so I don't drown them,lol...Since you're getting them from HI, they should be okay outside although HI is less hot and humid than we've been lately. I agree with pug on all accounts. Most hoya's love the humidity. Almost all of mine are on a covered screened in porch or outside and they do really well for me.I'm in Florida as well but further south than pug.

It's pushing 100 here and does all summer. Humidity is really high too. As long as my hoyas stay in mostly shade they do great!
