It has a fragrance akin to fudge or some chocolatey substance. At least that's what MY nose smells. It doesn't waft far. But some liken the scent to a pleasant-sour milky smell. Dunno how sour milk would smell pleasant, so that description baffles me. Pretty easy in the care department.
I am not sure if kentiana and wayetii are really the same species - I know wayetii is often sold labeled kentiana though. My wayetii flowered for me a few times, and the smell was similar to what Aurora described for kentiana. I would describe it as the smell of apple cider - mostly sweet but with pleasant sour undertones.

"Indestructible" is the word that comes to my mind. :-)
