I went to my local Lowes and saw a new plant I hadn't seen before marked Dischidia sp. and bought it but something tells me it may not be a Dischidia.
It has very shiny and rubbery spring green leaves. There seems to be a variegation down the center vein. I say this because I could tell a slight color difference. At first I thought it could be the beginning of sunburning. But looking very close I saw on a new leaf the mid vein is yellowish while the rest of the leaf is a spring green. I think with more light the variegation will come out on the rest of the plant and be more noticeable.
Has anyone encountered such a plant yet on their Hoya excursions?
If it turns out not to be a Dischidia I signed up for a round robin in another forum and can divide it out and send it off to new homes. haha.
I will try and get a picture today. It's way to dark now to try. Beware I am no way shape or form a good picture taker! haha.,,,Debbie
