Just Got Back From Lowe's...

Hi everyone,

My neighbor and I went to Lowe's and HD (which had nothing of interest to me or her) today and we just got back a few minutes ago. Well, they had 2 baskets of KP, 2 of numm. (which tempted me, but I didn't get it *gasp*!), one each of bilobata/incurvula (I don't have it but I couldn't get it). DS-70 and wayetti. The reason I passed some of them up is I finally bought a honeysuckle for my garden! It's the non-fragrant native one that the hummingbirds go crazy for (Trumpet honeysuckle).

I looked the honeysuckle up and wow what a nice plant, might have to get one as a present for my sister. We just put in six Clematis today but this honeysuckle would look great and the hummers would certainly love it.
We were at Walmart today getting some trellises and I found a hanging basket of Hoya lacanosa 'Ruby Sue', can't say I showed the will power you displayed. LOL

Mike, I take it you're the proud owner of a new Ruby Sue lacunosa? Funny you should mention the clematis as my neighbor bought one for herself too! I don't know the exact variety of trumpet honeysuckle it is but it does have very pretty flowers! It was tagged as Goldflame Honeysuckle but it definitely wasn't.

Brad there was no way I was going to leave that plant at the store. LOL
There were two really nice Hoya carnosas there as well but I don't need another one of those. I had gotten a little 4.5" pot of carnosa for my niece the day before and when I saw the hanging baskets I wish I had waited, she seems much more interested in the African Violets anyways because they are always blooming .
