Hybrids are a cross is between two species or forms of a species. This suggest that your plant comes from a seed origin and not by way of a known cutting.

It may be culturally grown differently, but this doesn't warrant this to be a new or different plant.

In the Liddle and Foster article I have on Hoya australis and it's subspecies they mention that the bronze colouration of new growth is not a definitive way of identifying Hoya australis subsp tenuipes even though it is commonly seen in this subspecies.
You can simply label your plant Hoya australis and just skip trying to narrow it down if you don't know any of the background history of your plant or it's origins.
