Are you driving or flying? You could just take it in your car if you are driving. However if you are flying, they may not let you have that in your luggage. Don't know. Or you could have a friend or neighbor mail it to you once you get there.

I think you can take it in your luggage, I brought many plants with me in my luggage from US to Brazil and have no problem at all!

It sounds like you have a large quantity to work with. Why don't you do both? You could take a set with you and send a set in one of those insulated silver bags, with a heat pack in the truck.

I would just mail them to myself just before leaving. They should be fine in the mail even if it's a little cold. Just make sure the rootball is a little on the dry side before you mail.
