I only got mine this spring, so it isn't close to being ready to flower yet, but I can tell you that I don't treat it any differently than the rest of my 'typical' Hoyas and it seems perfectly happy. That means I water it around once a week, allowing it to dry out a fair bit. Idk about keeping it in bud, but mine has yet to drop a leaf, so I have to assume it likes that treatment.

cool bright light, good air circulation and not overly wet. Avoid sudden changes in light or temperature and keep everything constant.

This one likes it cool but if you do decide to move it outdoors make sure it is not going to stay wet for long if it is raining. Watch your other Hoyas if they are out overnight because that is far too cool for most and if they are wet you could see some problems develop in a hurry. Most tropical lowland plants are best with 15C as a low and some will let you know right away that they are unhappy. At 10C you are often safe but 6C is the temperature at which most temperate species cease growth so that tells you it is quite cool.

So have the buds on your Hoya linearis developed any more? My plant never makes it to flowering because it's too warm where I grow it but I am considering moving it outside for a bit as the weather has been cool but not cold. Often times the buds on my plant just pop off half way through their development.

it seems to be getting bigger i am keeping an eye on it
