No, they doth not! :-) These are indeed buds! Congratulations.

It's not very common but not unusual for barely rooted cuttings to set buds. Sometimes they change their minds and bast those buds (happened to me more than just a few times!), but sometimes they do flower.

This one had an umbel with rather mature buds when I got the cutting in the mail. All of them blasted except for this, "The Army of One". This pic is just 9 days after potting the cutting.

I am expecting them to blast, as my diptera and lobbii did when I first got them. But, it would be nice if they cooperated :)

What flavor hoya is that, Greentoe? Those leaves!

Hoya rigida IML 1395. The leaves almost completely greened out under my artificial lights, I am sorry to say. I can give them from 1 to 4 T5 light bulbs, and 4 is pretty strong light - but even that was not enough to preserve the red. No competition with the Hawaiian sun, I guess. But the leaves look great even green, so I am not complaining.

Dang straight rigida 1395 is awesome!

Nothing was coming up behind that flower, unfortunately. Those bumpy looking things are actually places that buds blasted from - all except for this one that did get to flowering stage.

I don't know how honeysuckle smells like, but it did have a surprisingly strong scent for just one flower, a bit sweet, buttery and spicy.
