Hi David...glad you are back and all is OK for now. I am well familiar with "life" getting in the way of our hobbies. Love that multiflora flower. I have never seen the variegated one, but I can sure attest to their hardiness. I had one that was nothing but sticks and I had set it over by the trash can so as to clean out the pot thinking that it was all dead. Fortunately, I never got around to it because one day I was passing by the area & did a double take at the pot of sticks. Here was little green shoots coming out all over them. Ha. I moved her back to a place of distintion and gave it some much needed water & it is now doing fine again. (the power of neglect strikes again.) Ha.
Got the cuttings I got from you all potted up & rooting away. Thanks so much for the generous length of them. I got several cups of each. :-)
Hope your family matters hold steady for awhile so you can get everything transistioned OK.

What a gorgeous flower and some great photography as well. I'm getting ready to put a few pots in my greenhouse, but it will be a while yet before I can put everything in it. The temperature still gets way too hot for any of my tropicals even with a shade cloth on it. That's our Alabama sun for you. You are not alone with "life" getting in the way sometimes, but it just makes me enjoy the hobbies that much more.

The variegated multiflora is really a virused sport of the plant. it goes through phases of weak and sudden growth spurts.

David it's good to see you back. I have been trying to get my plants organized for fall and winter and even though there are not that many that go outside it's still such a chore. I don't even want to think about what you go through each fall with your collection.
