Congrats, Brad! Carnosa is (IMO) not a particularly early bloomer. My plain old fashioned carnosa is cuttings from my mother's (which was her mother-in-law's) and though it's relatively good-sized, still hasn't bloomed. Though some of that, I'm sure, is because I'm growing it in a north window in my bedroom. It seems happy and grows well, though...

And speaking of my Mom's old carnosa, she's going to restart it because she feels it's gotten too large (???!!!), so if anyone wants some cuttings this fall, e-mail me through my page...

Denise, both of my carnosas are in a southern window. TD's grandmother's cutting is setting right in front of it while my hanging plant (the one I started out with) is off to the side.
