| Whoo Hoo!! Congrats golden!! How very exciting for you...I can't comment on the "not moving the plant" thing. I am one of those people that's always moving my plants, every time I water them. I have to bring it outside so I don't make a mess in the house or I take them down to fertilize them. So far, I've never had an issue with losing flowers because of it. I have read that some people have though? There is one hoya that I've read over and over that you NEVER move when its blooming, and that is H. praetorii...but no problem since I don't have that one,lol.. Post when they open...I have a small pot of these,I'm still waiting for buds. |

| Good growing, G! This is one I've struggled with, but I got some flowers last fall. They're pretty little flowers, though the plant itself isn't on my list of favorites. I don't care as much for the small, stiff-stemmed species. But it takes up little space and the flowers make it worth keeping. And I've never had any problem with moving plants when they're in bloom or budding. Maybe it's not the best time to move to an all new location, i.e. a different exposure or a room that's cooler or hotter. But like Pug, I'm always carting mine off to the kitchen sink to water & foliar feed, groom and check for buggers... Denise in Omaha |
