Hoya Calycina problems

I have a small hoya calycina and its leaves turned yellow and fell off. When I moved it, one of the green leaves just fell off so it is now down to 1 leaf. I don't want to lose this plant and I would like it to bloom someday. Is there some secret to growing this plant?

Hi I grow this hoya and I find it likes to dry between watering. In the winter I have it close to my grow light and it seem very happy.I got this hoya last fall and it did very little until summer. When it finely started to grow and is still growing. I hope this helps a bit. I am also having some issues with a few of my hoyas.

Thank you Cindy. I will put it under the grow light with some of my other hoyas and orchids and see how it does. I usually don't have problems with my hoyas during the winter, the growing just comes to a halt.

I struggle to grow this Hoya and had a similar experience as you described with my plant this past spring. The totally leafless plant spent the summer outside in a shaded area and I let it dry out and pretty much ignored it other than to splash water on it every now and then. To make a long story short the plant has recently started new growth so even if your plant drops all of it's leaves be patient and it may eventually come back.

I don't have any issues growing Calycina in a partially shaded area of the gh where it gets some bright morning light for a few hours.
I am getting some yellowing and falling leaves on a number of hoyas right now but that's due to them having recently been moved back into the gh after being outside since mid April. They really don't like to be moved around a lot and will pout for a while after being moved. Once they become readjusted to being back inside for the winter the yellowing will stop and new leaves will begin to form.

David do you grow your plant in clay or plastic? I wonder if my plant would be better off in a large clay pot vs the plastic pot it's in now.
