Is this a New Variety??

Hi everyone,

I came across this on Ebay...and I was wondering if it's just me, but does it looks like some type of H. carnosa or KP that's reverted to all green and just got too much direct sun? I have several leaves like this on my KP...and it does get a few hours of direct sun.

Any opinions or guesses out there...just curious.
Thai Red leaf hoya. Thanks!

Was wondering same thing about that hoya.

I very much doubt that this is a rare Hoya and because they do not list the species there is no knowing what it is. You can bet the red is from sun exposure and that is certainly not worth anything extra or enough to make a plant rare or valuable. I wonder of they mean that this Hoya is endemic to Thailand. It does seem that they have a lot of nice plants but not Hoyas so I would be skeptical.

Wasn't too long ago this same seller had a "rare" auction and it was for a typical Hoya obovata! So don't let the word rare fool you.
I agree with Mike that the leaves are just sunkissed which makes it more appealing in the eyes of some.
I don't know what it is but my bet is it's NOT rare.,,,,Debbie :-P

I think you guys are right. I had NO intention of buying it, just curious like I said because it sure looked similar to my
sun drenched leaves on my KP...But you never know, maybe it is a New hoya and its rare? But personally I'm not willing to take a chance till I see a little more info from a known hoya
source.

Oh well I will see what it sells for...

I bought a variegated phal orchid from this seller and he sent three plants. They are healthy and growing well.
