Warmth and humidity will get your plants rooting. I've had fresh cuttings root in days with good conditions.

I fertilize every time I water using extremely dilute 5-10% liquid fertilizer. How often you fertilize depends on your soil mixture. I use minimal media with mostly bark and coir so I supplement nutrients constantly.
