Being new in the area can any one tell me what you use as the last frost date in the Red Hook/Rhinebeck area? Starting seeds and need to have a working date. Moved here from Alaska where we had 5 feet of snow on the ground at the end of April and eating fresh garden strawberrys 4 monthes later!

Usually early to mid may is the last time we see frost here in southern Dutchess. Supposedly May 20th or so is what I have seen it listed as.

Usually May 20th or possibly later but last year I think the last frost was the first week in May. In the past I've set out tomatoes on June 1st and even then had them lightly frosted but recently they've gone out on the 20th of May. They could have gone out earlier last year but though there wasn't a frost, it was still a bit chilly for warm weather plants.
