| Greetings, I'm located in mid-Dutchess county. I've got an area of my year that is near a stream, and it is often wet during the summer. I have trouble keeping the lawn mowed, so I though about planting a lot of bulbs and covering it with a few inches of mulch. Is there any bulb or other perennial that can live in moist soil? Thanks. |

| hi, certain kinds of iris can grow in bogs. maybe google it. good luck :) Laura |

| Hello dstone, Try some of the Dutch irises such as Yellow Flag & others as well as Rose Mallow. They like wet feet. Goodluck! |

| Siberian iris. They aren't bulbs, but they like the wet, they're very pretty, and they will spread. |
