Vines that aren't deer salad?

Hi guys!
What vines have you had luck with? I have a couple of bare spots that get sun/partial sun and one spot in the shade that would look great with vines.
Preferably the kind that deer don't like! Anybody had success with morning glories, or are they deer salad? |

| Morning glories are a favorite of the deer here. I had a 10 foot high obelisk that was covered in blooming morning glories. Went out one morning and right at deer mouth height was a swath chewed out all the way around. GRRR!!! However, I have found they don't eat my sweet autumn clematis. Or ivy. Good luck. And remember, a lot of times deer will chew quite a bit of a plant before they remember that they "don't eat it". |

| Mine seem to leave the clematis mostly alone as long as I have much tastier hops nearby! So far, the only vines that I've not seen the vermin eat are standard vinca, virginia creeper and poison ivy ;) |
