Community gardens in Southern Dutchess Co?

Hello! I moved to the Hopewell Junction area about 1 1/2 years ago and I live on a very wooded lot. I tried to grow tomatoes, lettuce, and zucchini unsuccessfully last summer. There's just not enough sun! Does anyone know if there are community or cooperative garderns in the area? I'd be willing to drive as far as Poughkeepsie, which is about 1/2 hour from my house. Thanks in advance!

Hi,

I had noticed an article about this community garden at Tilly Farms in Putnam - I don't think thats much more than a 1/2 hour from Hopewell. You can download a PDF application form from the Putnam County website - see the link below.
