anyone else with cranberry viburnum pests? Mine usually have something that curls some of the leaves but right now something else (many small greenish yellowish worm) are eating the leaves leaving just the veins. The leaves looke like lace when they are finished. I have never noticed this problem befor but know of another bush 15 miles away with the same problem, also for the first time.

I have the same thing, funny to see your post, I was just thinking I should do a search to see if I could find out what the problem is?

Mine are new seedlings (18"-24") and I'd sure like to save them from whatever it is! I'll do some more research and check back in.

RE: viburnum pest

sorry, I should have added, I have since discovered it is the "Viburnum leaf beetle" which sounds close to impossible to get rid of. There is something that can be sprayed but a license might be required (in other words, pretty toxic stuff) I will add the name as soon as I find it. I might try some pruning later in the season since my plants aren't totally infested.

Here is a link that might be useful: forum discussing viburnum pest
