| I put in my tomatoes yesterday as well! I took my cue from the local farmers around here - they put in frost tender seeds like zinnias and cosmos and basil a week ago, and they're all selling tomato starts. I figure they've got way more experience than me and more to lose, too, so I can trust their judgement. I don't want summer to rush in too fast, though. I've still got bare root roses coming and tender little plants! I'm glad it's cooler today at least. Just wait, though, with the weird weather we get around here, we'll probably get a snowstorm by the end of the month! |
