Where to buy mature evergreens in Westchester County?

Hi everyone...I'm a frequent lurke who rarely posts but I have searched and searched to no avail, so I am hoping some of you might know where to direct me.
I'm interested in buying some larger evergreen trees (15 feet+, up to...well as big as I can find!). I would like to find a source that can actually dig up and plant them also. Anyone know of a good source for this within a reasonable drive of Westchester County, NY? So far the only source I have found was in PA, so the trucking costs more than the trees themselves (and my conscience aches at the thought of anyone using that much gas to transport multiple large trees).

Thanks very much, oldroser! I will ask at Rosedale next time I'm there. They may very well have mature evergreens for sale even though most of their stock that's in the "main" areas is much smaller than I was looking for. I just never thought to ask them about trees, though I buy nearly all my roses and shrubs there.
I have never been to Twombly, actually, so thank you for the suggestion :) Will check them out too. |

| Did you find your source? Otherwise I would suggest Pound Ridge Nursery in Pound Ridge, NY (Westchester) or Valley View wholesale nursery in South Salem, NY. Both will install. |
