Clematis Guernsey Cream Vine

Hi
I'm quite new to gardening in the states,so don't
know to much about some of the plants.
I bought a Clematis Guernsey Cream,has lovely big white flowers,it has been in the ground about 3 maybe 4 weeks now,
and I have noticed 3 or 4 leaves are starting to brown on the tips,is it sick or normal for this plant?
