Privet hedge in shade?

| Anyone here have a privet hedge that's in the shade? I ordered lots of plants, but the area that I want to plant them is mostly shade. Just curious if they would do OK or if I have to come up with another plan. |

| Privet will grow in part shade, it prefers full sun. Your plants may take some time to get started and may not get all that thick (full) in mostly shade. |
