Heirloom tomatoes at Northern Dutchess Botanical

went back there yesterday to get tiny seedlings of Heavenly Blue morning glory and noticed a whole section of heirloom tomatoes. Got a Black Krim and a Pineapple to put in big pots on the back stoop. And suggested that next year they plant Stupice. They had Brandywine, Yellow Brandywine, Mortgage Lifter, Abraham Lincoln - some others I don't remember. Doug says they are selling well so he'll probably do this again next year.
Reggie wasn't around - too bad, because I had brought along some dog biscuits. |

| Just finished weeding and tying up the whole patch. Cherokee purple has fruit set as does Sungold, the others are blooming but not yet fruiting. |
