question about Sonnenberg Gardens

| Has anyone been to Sonnenberg Gardens in Canandaigua? I went in the early 90s and thought it was one of the best gardens in the country. But they had financial problems and the state just took over. I am wondering what the gardens look like today. I've been telling so many people that they HAVE to see Sonnenberg Gardens and I want to be sure that's still good info. So, anyone been there? Thanks! |

| Ginny, I have never been there. While vacationing in Maine I visited an artist's studio and fell in love with a very large and beautiful watercolor painting that I just had to have. It was of Sonnenberg Gardens. It looks so beautiful. I kept saying I am going to go there someday. We have never gone...but still have it on our list of things to do, places to go. The painting has some beautiful marble columns in with with the gardens. I'll be watching this post too, thanks for the info. |
